THE AUTHOR

A. Terrence Hardge

AUTHOR

Terrence Hardge graduated from Oral Roberts University with a B.S. in Mass Media Communications. He has written hundreds of newscasts as a news producer for ABC and NBC affiliate stations in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Although he was a successful broadcast journalist, Terrence decided to pursue a career that would allow him to assist people in a more therapeutic fashion.

In May 2000, he graduated from the University of Tulsa with an M.S. in Communication Disorders.  Since then, he has worked as a licensed speech-language pathologist providing therapy services to adults and children who have autism, intellectual impairments, emotional disturbances, and a host of other speech and language challenges.  He is also an educator and business owner.

Terrence is originally from St. Louis, Missouri.  His interest in law and the legal themes that occur in Innocent Guilt are probably genetic.  His mother was pregnant with him when she was sworn in as an attorney, and often joked that Terrence raised his right hand and was sworn in also.  Terrence’s father, sister and cousin are also respected attorneys.  Growing up, Terrence had the opportunity to work in his parents’ law firms and watch them argue cases in court.  His family is quite supportive of his talents.

In addition to his love for writing, Terrence enjoys acting.  He has performed for the Black Rep, the nation's largest, professional African-American theatre company.  Newspaper columnists have given his performances outstanding reviews.  His interests in acting, reading and writing more than likely gave rise to his highly imaginative mind.

Terrence now lives near Los Angeles, California with his lovely wife and three beautiful children.
